Amber Riley

It's not exactly everyday that you see fat girls represented in the media, so you can imagine my surprise when I was watching the Teen Choice Awards and spotted this adorable young woman from the cast of Glee. Her name is Amber Riley, and she's definitely reppin' for the YFF girls out there (in fact, I have that dress on the far right). I missed the premiere of Glee, but I've heard great things. Now that she's on my radar, I'm gonna keep an eye out for her during future events and I'll definitely be tuning in this fall.

  7. She is awesome, but I'm slightly disappointed with how the premiere of Glee treated her character. She was almost constantly in the shadow of the two white, thinner stars (I adore Lea Michele too, but Amber's just as good of a singer and should have a bigger part than she did). Hopefully this changes as the series goes on.

  8. i think the black tiered dress is from Dorothy Perkins which unfortunately is no longer on their website. Or its from somewhere else. It really looks like this dress from an old post of yours.
