I was hesitant to post this outfit, because admittedly there is no "wow factor." It's pretty plain, but a lot of people have asked me to post more often wearing pants. Today I wore my
grey acid wash jeggings sent by
Evans, which are super comfy but a bit too big. I suggest sizing down if you order these! (Actually, I like my jeggings to look painted on, so it may just be me). I paired them with a black v-neck tee and blazer, and wore my oversized watch and gold chain for a bit of interest.

I opened my online store! I still have a ton of stuff to add this weekend, so be on the lookout. Please remember that there are no returns, so ask any questions you may have in advance. I reply fastest on Twitter.
PPS- Congrats to Ashe Mischief for winning the Pour La Victoire Giveaway! You will be contacted via email very soon.
I actually really love the way those jeans fit you! Especially around the ankle...
ReplyDeletei wouldve never guessed those were jeggings...i like 'em
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you got my tweet or not (LavenduhChic) but I was one of those that suggested you should still post your outfit. Plain or not, if you feel you look cute in it, go for it. I'm a sucker for simplicity, so I'm loving this look! I need an oversized watch in my life.
ReplyDeleteyah i see what ya mean, for those to be jeggings, they fit like regular denim. I like mines to look "painted" on as well. I still like the outfit though. All the pizazz is great, but so is simplicity every once in a while. The accessories make it not so boring and well yeah the jeans too!
ReplyDeleteI love this look so much. Simple is best, Gabi!

I think this outfit looks super chic on you. It's nice to rock edgy clothes, but, sometimes being simply chic is just as good. As a born and bred Brooklyn girl, you definitely look like a New Yorker in this outfit. You know how we New Yorkers love our black, lol.
ReplyDeletegirl what are you talking about?! i think your style translates well in this simple outfit, meaning there are still those classic Elements of Gabi here. you look great! i want acid wash jeggings so baddd
ReplyDeleteYou are working the heck out of those heels.
ReplyDeleteLOVE IT! So classy!
ReplyDeletei have those, I got my regular size and they are way to big! I like mine to look painted on so, I'm having them tailored.

ReplyDeleteYou call this plain?? This is hawt!
ReplyDeleteGreat outfit! I agree with the painted on jeggings! The tighter the better! :) LOVE the watch!
ReplyDeleteLexy
There is plenty of wow factor. Subtle and plain are two very different things, and that outfit is fabulous.
ReplyDeleteSo chic , I love it!

I love this look! It's totally classic but it's got all of the elements that give it a bit of edge...Funny enough, I have those same exact pumps only in leather and I posted them in my latest OOTD blog TODAY as well! :)

Your 'casual' look is still awesome. The accessories really dress it up and I'm loving your lipstick.

ReplyDeleteI agree that the leggings/jeggings in Evans run a little roomy. Spray-painted on is the best. x.

ReplyDeleteSUPER cute (as usual)
ReplyDeleteShoes = BOSS.

The pieces may be simple, but the look is DEFINITELY not plain. This is a great example of how to do basics without being boring! Love it, love it, LOVE IT.

I ordered another pair (darker denim blue) at evans some time ago in my regular jeans size, cause I was scared they may not be as strechy as the leggings and it was a total mistake, they are sooooo big, I would definitely go down 1 or two sizes.
ReplyDeleteI liks this outfit, it looks really nice even if its kind of plain it doesn't look plain at all, also you lipstick and nails add a great color!
You look amazing! What a shoes!:D I love
ReplyDeleteI am a jeggings convert after seeing these pictures. I really like how they look around the ankle over the heels, looks like just the right amount of stretch to me, and leggings are so comfortable. Not Plain Jane at all!

It might be plain, but you wear it fabulously.
ReplyDeleteI think that plainer outfits often have the most impact if you wear it with attitude! :)

I actually prefer the simple look on you! You have a very pretty face and a proportionate body so you can work whatever. Looks very young, fresh, and easy.
ReplyDeleteNothing simple about gray acid wash jeans and uber high-heeled patent pumps. It's certainly not everyday-wear for me. It's hot in a subtle way.
ReplyDeletelove it! i have been keeping my eyes out for a great pair of jeggings and a blazer for a while now! love what you found!

You know what? There may not be a "wow factor" but that's life, you'd look awfully silly if you were always dressed for the Oscars! As far as everyday dressing goes, I love this outfit! And I think the chunky gold chain gives it a nice touch of visual interest.
