I'm no beauty blogger, but lately I've been getting more and more into makeup and skincare. Though my skin is not the greatest, I actually get a lot of readers asking me about my makeup routine, so I thought it was about time for another beauty post. I'm a pretty simple girl when it comes to my makeup, which means I tend to do the same (or a very similar) look each day. I have been trying more and more products lately though, and here's what I can't get enough of this Summer:

What beauty products are you loving this season?

I've always wanted to try NARS products the summer does a number on my skin. It gets so oily and then I get the biggest pimples known to man! I've fallen in love with Bobbie Brown Blush a sample i got at an event! You look great!
ReplyDeleteI've gotten so many compliments on my make-up when I use L'Oreal True Match. I dare say I prefer it to my Make Up Forever foundation.
ReplyDeleteI have got to get that blow dryer for my daughter! You look so pretty Gabi! I just love your blog. I have not posted my next post yet but stop by because I am raving about your block party stylist gig...I LOVED all of the outfits you put together for the girls. ReplyDeletei love your sparkly nails! and I'm so with you on Brows-A-Go-Go! Best product I think I've ever bought, I can't imagine not filling in my brows now.
ReplyDeleteSephora's tinted moisturizer has been working for me this summer, especially since I have no A/C at home and foundations can feel so heavy!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the new Benefit They're Real Mascara. I got it a couple of weeks before it hit the stores and it is awesome! I will have an upcoming post soon about it!
ReplyDeleteThe L'Oreal foundation is def a must have!
ReplyDeleteL'Oreal's Telescopic Explosion mascara is a MUST MUST have for every woman! It's AH-MAZING!

I was inspired to get a bright pink lipstick after seeing your video... I looked high and low, Mac, Chanel, YSL and finally ended up with Nars Shiap. How funny that I didn't even know that was the one you were wearing... Its also cool that it looks amazing on blondes and brunettes. :)
ReplyDeletei'm so glad i know exactly which make up forever shade you're using, now! NARS Schiap is def a must have. I'm obsessed with it.
ReplyDeleteRe:Skin -
ReplyDeleteI used to have really red/acne skin and I stopped washing my face with anything but oatmeal soap. and it's pretty much cleared up. I also stopped putting any lotion on my skin, except straight raw aloe. My skin isn't red and I don't break out as much, or as often.
Just a thought.
Also, do you do personal styling??? I've just moved to NYC to do the whole audition thing and I need help!!! :)
I've been wanting to try the true match foundation. would you consider it long lasting? I hate foundations that transfer to my clothes. what shade are you?
ReplyDeleteSome of my favorite products this summer are the NARS Orgasm blush (I use it on my eyes and cheeks for a golden/coral glow), Chanel Waterproof Eyeliner in Eboni (it stays put, glides on smooth and thin, and I don't have to reapply!), and Clinique's Exfoliating Scrub. It's super creamy, and the exfoliating grains are super fine.
ReplyDeleteBTW, as far as your skin goes, I would suggest using Clinique's Acne Solutions System. I suffered from acne and have oily skin, which has been transformed (and maintained) by this product line. It includes a foam cleanser, toner and clearing moisturizer, as well as a healing gel for spot treatments. I use it occasionally, but I hardly ever have to use it. Try it! :) Thanks for the review and for sharing some of your beauty faves this summer.
The brow kit is AMAZING! It really does make a huge difference!
ReplyDeleteThis season I'm loving my benefit "they're real!" mascara.
