Back to Black
I went to a few Fashion Week events today and wasn't sure what to wear, which means I opted for my go-to look: head to toe black. Since my outfit itself was pretty simple, I decided to glam it up with a statement necklace from Aldo and a floppy hat from H&M. I love dark lips with looks like this, so I wore "All of My Purple Life," the MAC lipglass designed by friend and fellow blogger Afrobella!

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad I found your blog. It means a lot to see someone who looks more like me rocking the ____ out of some amazing outfits. Almost every style blog I see features women who are so tiny and it makes me feel that maybe being stylish and fashionable isn't for me. But seeing you makes me realize how silly that is.

I love this! It's all black in the right way. I like that you pulled in different textures and shapes to complete the outfit, and I WANT that necklace. So gorgeous! The lipglass color is perfect, too.

I cannot honestly say I even LIKE this outfit... entirely too revealing for no reason. And honestly, the black on black with the floppy black hat makes me think your mourning. I must be the opposite of a fashionista if this is fashionable because this looks like a what NOT to wear.
