Also, I'm so stoked that I was on two episodes of Andrew Mukamal's "Today's Look." In part one, I talk about my background and how I started blogging. In part 2, below, I talk about my shopping habits and fuck you attitude toward fashion rules (and tips for fashion bloggers). Make sure you check out Andrew's awesome blog!
ps-I know H&M's main range goes up to a size 16, but usually in-store I find it only goes up to size 12. But the good news is, H&M+ has launched in select stores!! The stuff is a bit more bland than the rest of their collections, but it's a start :)

You look amazing! I love the animal print mixing. Good to know about H&M!!
ReplyDeletewhere has Andrew been all my life?!
ReplyDeleteI'm not normally a big fan of mixing prints, but you did make this work. what helped was that A) it was the same print just different colors. and B) one was in a black/white print which is neutral and the colored print had black in it. so it all tied together well.
ReplyDeleteabout time H&M got on board with the big girls. I finally got so annoyed that they didnt carry plus sizes that i refused to even by accesories there.
Mixing prints can be very risky at times, but by choosing colors that compliment each other you pulled it of! You go girl! :)
ReplyDeleteLove it!

Absolutely adore your blog! You own so many items I want to steal and I love your jewelry collection! I'm definitely going to be a regular visitor to your blog.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of mixing prints, my only issue (and I realize this makes me way old school) is the brown with black. That always drives me bonkers.
ReplyDeleteLove the birds on birds look :) Adorable.

I love when stylists and designers mix prints. It is super fun to watch and look at and says a lot about the wearer's personality. However, I'm concerned that the similar size of your prints and style are a problem for this outfit. I think they're both wonderful separate pieces though.
ReplyDeleteLove the print on top of print, and contrast of the color. Great look.
ReplyDeleteI still have a few peices from H and M the BIB line .. I still can fathom what happened to make them do away with that line. I love the stuff available in th UK our line looks like a tester!!! anyway how do we find out what stores are carrying the HM + line?
ReplyDeleteGo Gabi!!! Just saw the 2 episodes you did Love them. typically dont comment much but you are such an inspiration. I can relate to you so much its not even funny. Thanks for inspiring me to get out there and wanna inspire as well.
ReplyDeleteLove YOU!!
Gaby.
