Textured

When I was in New York a few days ago, I decided to stop by the brick and mortar Lord&Taylor to check out their plus size selection in person. It was absolutely huge! There were a bunch of items I wanted to take home with me, but I made myself edit and I ended up choosing this amazing jacquard blazer because I knew that it would be a great long-term addition to my wardrobe. I love the luxe metallic fabric and how perfect it is for the fall and winter months. You guys know my go-to silhouette has always been a great structured blazer with skinny pants, so I threw this on over an H&M woven tee and Torrid black skinnies. If you're ever in a crunch and don't know what to wear, I promise this combo works for everyone--instant style!

  2. That jacket is beautiful. But it's so weird that it doesn't look so 'beautiful' on the L&T website; it looks pretty dull, actually. This post made me change my mind regarding the jacket.

  3. Looking fab as usual! I adore the monogrammed clutch. So fun! Where's your watch from? I saw some cute chunky ones like that at Guess? and Michael Kors has them too, but I can't decide whether I like the rose gold or the regular gold finish better.

I am currently looking for a modern retro winter coat, and was hoping you know of store or website that caters to the plus-size woman.

    Thanks for the help

  13. How on Earth did the jacket on the L&T website turn into the one you are wearing? The jacket on the website is matronly and wretched and on you fresh and classy, yet fun. I wonder how much of that store might actually have potential...I more often than not refuse to allow my mother to buy anything there when I am present because of how gag inducing their plus size section is.

  14. That jacket looks great on you, but as a previous poster noted - it doesn't look so hot on the L&T website. Seeing it ON you really makes a difference!!

  18. Love this look! The jacket is interesting and unique while still being a versatile piece. I purchased some printed blazers over the spring/summer, but I don't have any printed blazers for fall or winter. I have these jeans...now I just need to find a cool fall/winter printed blazer like this one.

Skinny pants and blazers are definitely my go-to outfit as well.
